Government support
You could be eligible for a Disabled Facilities Grant from your local council if you’re disabled and need to make changes to your home. This won't affect any benefits you get.
Peer support
The RCN has a network for members with lived experience of disability and/or neurodivergence. They share their experiences and knowledge, give and receive non-professional support, contribute to guidance and promote the benefits of a diverse healthcare workforce. Although the network is for members, lots of their resources are available to non-members too.
