Our Patrons
Meet the Patrons of the RCN Foundation
The varied expertise of the RCN Foundation's Trustees, Advisers, Stakeholders and Patron helps us deliver grants and support to nurses, midwives and healthcare support workers all around the UK.
The RCN Foundation Board consists of twelve Trustees. Chaired by Professor Dame Jane Cummings, the Board convenes four times a year.
Their work is supported by External Advisers who sit on our Committees: Governance and Nominations, Grants and Income Generation and Investment.
The Stakeholder Panel provides the Board and senior team with insight, advice and support on key issues and priorities for nursing and midwifery across all four UK countries.
Our work as a whole is championed by our Patrons - acclaimed author and former paediatrics nurse, Christie Watson, and expert on compassionate leadership, Professor Michael West CBE.
