Do you use needles in your work?

If you use needles in your work and are doing postgraduate study or a professional short course, you could be eligible for up to £1,600 through this grant.

To apply for this grant individuals must use needles in their role, however the proposed activity does not have to directly relate to the use of needles but should instead improve the individuals' overall practice and patient care.

To apply for this grant, you need to be:

  • A UK registered nurse
  • A UK registered midwife
  • Able to demonstrate how you use needles in your work
  • Doing a UK accredited course that starts between 1 January - 31 December 2025.

Meet Beth

Beth is a Paediatric Asthma and Allergy Clinical Nurse Specialist working in the largest allergy department in the country. Beth was awarded a grant towards an allergy MSc course, which allowed her to implement a more evidence-based practice into her own clinic, improving the quality and standards of allergy practice for patients.
