Are you a healthcare support worker looking to develop your professional skills?

Grants of up to £500 are available to encourage and support healthcare support workers in furthering their career.

This grant is open to:

  • Healthcare support workers based in the UK, who are;
  • Undertaking a UK-accredited course between 1 September 2024 and 1 September 2025
  • Applications from apprenticeships are not eligible for this education grant.

A healthcare support worker is defined as:

  • Not a registered nurse, midwife, health visitor or nursing or midwifery student; and
  • Delivers care as delegated by a registered nurse, midwife or health visitor.

The grant is sponsored by a donation from the family of Professor Dame Betty Kershaw.
